I study the economics of education, immigration, and natural resources. I've researched the immigration enforcement on the education outcomes of students, publishing in the Journal of Human Resources. Additionally, I've investigated the way that markets can help manage invasive species landing in Environmental and Resource Economics.
My upcoming work looks at the management of natural resources that have differentiated use values -- namely fisheries where commercial, recreational harvest, and recreational catch-and-release anglers intersect. Additionally, I have an emerging research focus around transmission and storage strategies for spatial and temporal arbitrage in energy markets.
